Today, my daughters and I created this Free Girl’s Bedroom Mermaid Printables because we lost two of our favorite posters a few weeks ago. You may remember when we revealed our awesome Little Mermaid Bedroom Makeover last winter. When we did, we shared two beautiful posters from Amazon, and sadly, due to poor planning on my part, those posters didn’t last very long.

I had no idea that finding affordable frames for them would be so hard when I purchased them. That’s the thing about posters. They are super cheap, but framing them can be ridiculously expensive.

I ended up framing them in oversized frames after seeing a cool idea on Pinterest, which ended up being a total fail. The frame bent, and both posters are now in the garbage. 🙁

My girls still love all things teal, purple, and blue, so these colors are perfect for their room and their personalities.

I can’t believe they still love these colors and mermaids. When I wrote the original mermaid makeover, I knew they would be over that theme in two minutes but surprisingly they are still into pretty much everything they loved last year. Who knew girls and boys would be so different?

If you want to print these Mermaid Printables for your daughters, I recommend using cardstock; that’s what we use. A good quality cardstock will look best and hold up and not lose color the way the paper will.

In the past, I have printed cute designs for my office frames on paper, and they usually start to fade from the sun within a few months, so consider that if you plan to print these and place them in a room that gets a lot of natural light.
