Winter Onederland Birthday Party Ideas

Sharing is caring!

In January, my niece turned one (I can’t believe how quickly the year flew by), and my sister-in-law let me help her with the Winter Onederland Birthday Party ideas and it was SO MUCH FUN! Today I’m sharing some of my Krystle’s ideas with you.

Winter Onederland Birthday Party Ideas. Looking for Winter Onederland Supplies? We've got you covered!

Before this party, I didn’t even know “Winter Onederland” parties were a thing. To be honest, it took me a few minutes to realize it was “ONE”derland. I assumed she was throwing a winter-themed birthday party because it was January. Yes, I am that clueless, but hey, my kids are older, and there was no such thing as Pinterest back then so cut me some slack!

Party Tips: If you are planning your party for a time after Christmas be sure to check all after Christmas sales for Winter Onederland party decorations. Krystle found some cute things to use for the party, and she can use the decor again next year when she decorates for Christmas! That’s a win!

Winter Onderland Party Highchair Decor

My favorite decoration was the High chair. This was another thing I had never seen done before, and I thought the tulle dresses high chair was a precious touch. I also loved the cute birthday hat and pearls.

Party Tips: When gathering your party supplies don’t forget about the photographs you are having made. Little things like a pearl necklace can make those candid smash cake shots stand out!

Winter Onederland Cake

Brooklyn’s party was in the late afternoon, so they served chili, a veggie tray, and, of course, sweets! I thought the cake and smash cake were adorable. If I didn’t know any better, I would have thought it was a “FROZEN” birthday party!

Winter Onederland Smash Cake

Krystle made sure to have toddler-friendly items on the menu as well. My kids (all well past toddler years) were begging for the fruities.

Winter Onederland Hot Cocoa Bar

Of course, you can’t use the Winter Onederland theme and not have a hot cocoa bar, so she set that up as well. That was a pretty big hit with everyone at the party.

Winter Onederland Melted Snow Water Bottles

For the very few (probably just my family) guests that live a sugar-free lifestyle, she gladly provided melted snow. I was fine with that as long as the melted snow was crystal clear! 😉 I think she printed the labels online, but I’ll have to check with her.

Winter Onederland Party High Chair

My SIL is much smarter than I ever was. She used a tablecloth under the high chair to catch the mess! Unfortunately, Brooklyn didn’t end up making much of a mess because we quickly learned that she doesn’t like the feeling of frosting on her hands. I have a feeling she’ll get over that real fast!

Winter Onederland Adopt A Polar Bear

The kids at the party (and some of the adults) decided to adopt a polar bear at Brooklyn’s party! This has to be the cutest party favor ever. After seeing these, I don’t think I will waste money on party favors that get thrown away. From now on I want to purchase bigger items that the kids will keep for more than a few days. I mean I don’t know about you, but I toss party favors as soon as the kids lay them down somewhere.

Winter Onederland Birthday Party Chalkboard

Chalkboards are all the rage right now, and this one makes a great keepsake.

Winter Onderland Party Message In A Bottle

I also loved the message in a bottle idea. We all had to write Brooklyn a note letting her know what we thought she would be when she grew up. I can’t even remember what I said, but I think it was something along the lines of “You will be AMAZING no matter what you do.” Yeah, I know. Maybe if they had included some kind of gambling system, I would have been more precise. Now that I think of it…. that is a very good idea! You could take bets on what the child will become and place all the money in a savings account. Then when the child grows up and decides what they are going to do with the rest of their lives, you can award the winner. If no one guessed correctly, all of the money goes to the child! Now that sounds like fun!
