Hair, hair everywhere. That is a statement my husband hears on a weekly basis. I have grown my hair out for about 3 years now and I love it. I love having long hair, and I love having two little princesses with long curly hair. What I hate however, is finding that hair everywhere; especially in my vacuum. Not only are there three females with long hair in our home, we also have Sophie the hairiest dog this side of the Mississippi. Okay, maybe I’m exaggerating, but it still drives me crazy. I can’t stand to find dog hair on my clothes, on the couch, or anywhere for that matter. That’s why I am willing to try any vacuum cleaner that claims to help with pet hair!

Last year I purchased a pretty expensive (for me) vacuum and was so excited to bring it home. It claimed that I would never need another vacuum because it was so amazing, and made specifically for pet owners. I bought it hook, line, and sinker. I came home, ripped open the box, and was vacuuming like a mad woman… for 10, yes 10 whole minutes. My dream of living in a hair-free home were dead. I had managed to clog the “pet hair” roller brush before I could make it upstairs. I’m not going to lie, I said some choice words and went straight to bed!

Best-Vacuum-For-Hair

Fast forward to a few weeks ago when I first heard about the Eureka Brushroll Clean™ with SuctionSeal®. I don’t usually make the same mistake twice (if I can help it) so I was a little weary of trying this new vacuum, but I knew I had to do something because I have gotten to the point where just thinking about sweeping and vacuuming makes me depressed. You think I’m kidding, but I hate knowing that even after vacuuming I will still find dirt and hair on my floors. I wish I could say my current vacuum sucks, but unfortunately, it doesn’t suck AT ALL!

Like a child waking up to Santa, I rant to the porch to grab my new vacuum yesterday, and I couldn’t wait to rip open the box and start “playing” with my new toy. I had my entire house vacuumed in under two hours (yes even the hardwood floors and our newly tiled rooms were no match for the Eureka Brushroll Clean™ with SuctionSeal®. I am in love with this vac, it is honestly the best vacuum I have ever owned! I told my husband that I want to get another one to keep upstairs!

I made a fun little video to show you how awesome this machine is. Not only does it suck up more dirt than I ever wanted to know lived on my floors, but it also cuts the hair that gets wrapped around the brush roll of the vacuum, and all you have to do is press a button! How freaking awesome is that?!! Gone are the days of pulling out the scissors to remove the new toupee your vacuum decided to weave together for you (don’t get me wrong, my husband could use some hair, but gross!), now you can let the Eureka Self Cleaning Brushroll take care of the dirty work for you. After all, isn’t that the job of the vacuum in the first place?

To clean your brushroll, all you have to do is let the hair accumulate (you’re already doing that) and then press that beautiful silver pedal that says BRUSHROLL CLEAN PEDAL! Let me show you how easy this is:

Eureka Brushroll Clean

It just doesn’t get any easier than that!

I think the reason this vacuum grabs so much of the dirt off the floors and carpets is because of the SuctionSeal® technology. There is no space between the floor and the vacuum for dirt to go flying around, which is what I’ve experienced with other units, and you can stop the brush roll from spinning when you are using it on hardwood, so you don’t have to worry about scratching the floors.
