Are you looking for Dip Recipes For Game Day? If so, you are in luck because I’m not just giving you one recipe… No, that wouldn’t do game day justice! I’m hooking you up with four fantastic dip recipes for game day, which are sure to please everyone in your family. These dips pair perfectly with the all-natural Alexia Sweet Potato Fries and Onion Rings.
Oh, and I’m also showing off my super cute fry cartons that I crafted with my Cricut machine (yeah, get used to that, this machine is taking over my life). I purchased the white fry cartons at Hobby Lobby and made these football-themed die-cuts using the Cricut Father’s Day Cartridge. Can you guess my favorite team, based on the colors I used?
I attached my die-cuts with some Elmer’s non-toxic adhesive, and voila, we have super cute game-day-themed fry cartons!
What do you think?
My favorite thing about the game day, aside from screaming and cheering without feeling like an idiot, is snacking! Like anything else, I prefer to keep it healthy, which is why I like to bake up Alexia Sweet Potato Fries and Onion Rings. The Alexia brand is all-natural, so I don’t have to feel guilty for indulging on game day.
I also try to keep my dips on the healthy end of the spectrum, but I make dips for the rest of my family based on their requests. When my husband and I were dating, we used to hit up restaurants where we could watch the games, and that’s where the Red Robin Campfire dipping sauce comes in! We also love Foosacklys, but I have yet to make a copycat recipe for that. So without further ado, I give you 4 Kick-Butt Dip Recipes For Game Day!
Cinnamon & Sugar Yogurt Dip Recipe: (my personal favorite and the best way to make these Alexia Sweet Potato Fries more like a treat and less like a veggie)
Ingredients:
– 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt (Great Value is my favorite because it only has 9g of sugar per serving)
– 2 tsp vanilla extract
– 2 tsp cinnamon
– 3-4 single-serve packets of Truvia
Directions:
1. Stir together and dip away! It doesn’t get much easier than that!
Copy Cat Red Robin Campfire Dipping Sauce Recipe: (perfect for the kids)
Ingredients:
– 1 cup of mayo
– 1 cup of original bbq sauce
– 1/2 tsp of dried chipotle powder (you can add as much as a tsp, but I go easy on it so the kids can handle it)
Directions:
1. Stir the ingredients together and refrigerate for at least an hour, three if the mayo was off the shelf (aka room temp).
Copy Cat Bloomin’ Onion Dip:
Ingredients:
– 1 cup mayo
– 4 tbsp creamy horseradish (you can go easy on this if you don’t like it spicy)
-2 tbsp ketchup
– 2/3 tsp paprika
– 2/3 tsp cayenne pepper
– 1/4 tsp oregano
– 1/2 tsp salt
– a dash of black pepper
Directions:
1. Stir the ingredients together and refrigerate for at least an hour, three if the mayo was off the shelf (aka room temp).
Copy Cat Zax Dipping Sauce: (I forgot to grab them when I went shopping for this post, but the Alexia Crinkle Cut Fries are the BEST with this dip!)
Ingredients:
– 1 cup mayo
– 1/4 cup ketchup
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tsp black pepper
Directions:
1. Stir the ingredients together and refrigerate for at least an hour, three if the mayo was off the shelf (aka room temp).
