Are you looking for things to do with kids in Fort Worth, Texas? Today I’m sharing a list of places every parent should visit at least once with their kiddos if possible.
I moved to Fort Worth in December of 2021, and if I’ve learned anything about the Texas lifestyle, Texans are always enjoying something fun! There is SO much to do here.
If you are considering moving to Fort Worth, I promise you will never be bored!
Texas Motor Speedway
You don’t have to be a Nascar fan to enjoy the various events hosted on the track throughout the year. Just take a look at a few of my favorites for 2022:

SeaQuest
Looking for something fun to do with the aquatic animal lovers in your life? This interactive aquarium allows you to snorkel with stingrays, interact with sloths, and feed your favorite new friends. Prices start at $10.99. Purchase tickets online
Legoland Discovery Center
Welcome to the land of creativity, where your imagination can take you to new heights! Legoland is a must-visit attraction for all builders, young and old. Located in the Grapevine Mills Mall, you can make an entire day out of it by bundling your tickets for Legoland Discovery Center with Peppa Pig World of Play and SEA LIFE. Grab your tickets here and build fun into your day!
Peppa Pig World of Play
Do you have a Peppa Pig fanatic at home? If you do, you’re probably going to want to invest in a season pass to this fun-filled indoor playground. With fourteen themed rooms, your kids will be busy for hours!
Sea Life Aquarium
Sea turtles, sharks, and jellyfish, oh my! End the perfect day at Grapevine Mills Mall with a stop at this fun and relaxing aquarium. Everyone will learn something new in the Rainforest Adventure and Interactive Rockpool exhibits. During February, you can even meet the PJ Masks! Get your tickets here.
Kimbell Art Museum
located in Fort Worth, is a great way to introduce your children to art and participate in kid-themed art workshops, all for FREE! The museum also offers a teen hangout; you can view the full calendar here.
Fort Worth Museum of Science and History
I love a good science and history museum, and Fort Worth has one that you can’t miss! Tickets start at $12 (2 and under are FREE), and the permanent exhibits include the Dinolabs, Dinodig, Children’s Museum, Innovation Studios, Space Gallery, Energy Blast, and Heritage Gallery. Fort Worth Zoo
Elephants, Giraffes, and Hippos, need I say more? The FW Zoo is home to many incredible creatures and offers fun events for all ages. From Parents Night Out to Spring Break Summer Camp, if you’re looking for something to connect you with the animal kingdom, this zoo will not disappoint! Six Flags Over Texas & Hurricane Harbor Texas
If your family is looking for something a little more thrilling to do, Six Flags and the Six Flags waterpark are perfect for an adrenaline-filled weekend of family fun. Coasters, waterslides, entertaining shows, and funnel cakes are what summer is all about. Get your tickets to Six Flags here (tickets start at $34.99, but you can always find coupons that will get you in for around $25).
Hawaiian Falls Water Park
This is the smallest waterpark I have ever seen, but that’s what’s great about it. Why fight large crowds when you don’t have to? The park opens May 7, 2022, and ticket prices start at $20.99 (if you’re local, buy the season pass, it’s such a great deal). Grab your tickets here.
