Hi, and welcome to Faithfully Free!
I (Shasta) started my first online journal in 2007 when I was pregnant with my first daughter, Alexis, and eventually began what would become Faithfully Free in 2009, just a few days before my second daughter, Anna, was born.
I'm not sure what made me think I should start a blog just days before giving birth to my fourth child, but the timing was perfect, and it blossomed into the most successful business I've ever owned. (You may remember it as Faithfully Frugal and Free)
Over the years, my passions have evolved, and this blog has grown and adapted with them.
In 2020, in partnership with my mom, we expanded and now share our passions via five separate blogs. In addition to Faithfully Free, we also write at: That's Crafty, She's Tripsy, Always Animated, and Keto Size Me.

About Sherri Spivey:
When I married my quartermaster sweetheart in the United States Navy in 1982, it was the best decision I ever made.
As a result, we have matured from a family of two into our terrific family of 17. As much as I enjoyed motherhood, becoming a grandmother nine times has trumped that.
Since Shasta asked me to join her on the blog, I left my full-time job of over 20 years and haven't looked back. Working with her has been a blessing in too many ways to list here.
I have a passion for crafts and DIY projects. It helps that I married a very creative man, which is a recipe for adventure!
I love writing about and sharing what we create, and I hope that I inspire our readers to create anything their hearts desire. My goal is to leave you feeling like the glass is more than half full and that the sky is the limit.
