When Women Attack (Are bloggers the worst kind of bullies)

I'm not going to lie, writing this is one of the hardest things I have ever done but I can't sit back and watch this without saying something.

This week it happened again. An established blogger with a rather large following decided to bring a lesser known blog into the spotlight. Sure this blogger was doing just fine on her own, but  our goal is to help each other out right?

No, wait.....

She wasn't doing her any favors. Instead she was tearing her apart and making her post about something it wasn't. But she's okay with it because she brought the blogger traffic, and that's all bloggers care about right?

WRONG!

It's not bad enough that we have to worry about our blogs being hacked, or comments being spammed, we have a real predator out there.

OTHER BLOGGERS!

So as it always happens, when the bigger blogger has thousands of readers that worship daily at the blog, she can do no wrong.

Comments read like:

OMG You are practically perfect in every way.

You hit the nail on the head. You are amazing, and I hope I grow up to be just like you.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

If your daughter was getting blasted on facebook by a girl in her school with 100K friends and it was being tweeted about and shared all over the web would that be as OMG worthy?

What is wrong with us? Have we returned to our Roman roots?

Hey, lets throw a couple bloggers in the ring and watch the big nasty lion tear them to shreds.

One word:

DISGUSTING!

I am so sick and tired of seeing the posts and the threads where we talk crap about bloggers all because they put themselves out there...it's really their own fault right?

Uh, no.

This would never fly if you or your family members were being the ones trashed talked.

Maybe it would be nice to start treating others the way we want to be treated.

I really wonder what these blogger's parents and children must think of their hate-filled, judgmental posts.

You know what would be amazing? If these blogger started calling out bloggers who are good writers, mothers, philanthropists. Maybe as women we should actually stick together and help each other succeed. Now there's a thought!

Are you sick of seeing women treat each other this way? I know I am!

That is all...
