Ingredients

  • 1 pound of ground Italian sausage.
  • 5 assorted red bell peppers
  • 1 small (8 ounce) can of tomato paste.
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 2 tsp dried oregano.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400
  2. Cut the tops off peppers and scoop out and discard the seed
  3. Save tops
  4. Mix garlic,oregano, and onion in a bowl
  5. Cook sausage in a frying pan as directed
  6. Add sausage and tomato paste to bowl
  7. Stuff your peppers
  8. Place stuffed peppers in a 9x13 pan to prevent spilling
  9. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes
  10. Enjoy!

Okay, I made these Paleo Sausage Stuffed Peppers and they were AH-MAZING! I have never ever ever ever liked stuffed peppers before but I will be adding these bad boys to the rotation! (Husband is doing Paleo and loves stuffed peppers and I stumbled across this recipe. I'm so glad I did! Thank you!)
