My Favorite Toys From The 80’s and 90’s

Sharing is caring!

Theses are just a few of my favorite toys from the 80’s and 90’s. No, I didn’t own them all, but some I never stopped wishing for :).

Dream Phone: My parents would NEVER buy me this, but I had a few friends who had it! After watching the commercial I think it’s hilarious that I wanted this at such a young age. I used to walk around the house saying “Dan, Dan’s my man!”. WOW!

Treasure Trolls: I loved these things and had I don’t know how many of them. I do remember that their hair was not good for chewing on (I had a thing about chewing my toys). Oh, and none of my wishes ever came true.

Teddy Ruxpin: I didn’t have the doll (he was too expensive), but I did have some of the books and tapes.

Glo-Worms: Oh, I loved the small glo-worms. They were so cute. This was one of the first toys I ever bought my son!

Skip-It: I had lots of friends who had this one. I wanted it but I can’t remember if I ever actually owned one.

Cabbage Patch Kids: I had one….and I have no clue what ever happened to it. I wanted one for the longest time, and I remember the day my Nanny bought it. The boys in the family got one too! It was sweet.

Care Bears: I loved the toys and the show.

Popples: These things were awesome. I had the blue one, but always wanted the white one. I also wanted the soccer ball when the sports themed Popples came out.

Wuzzles: These were my favorite books, and I loved the cartoon! Oh how I miss the Wuzzles!

Easy Bake Oven: I begged for this. I used up all the cake dough in an hour! I loved the pizza, but now I think everything from the easy bake with the exception of the Oreo cake tastes horrible lol.

My Little Pony: I still love MLP!

The Quints: I wanted this set so bad. My cousin had the house with the mini-van, high chairs, strollers, and the whole nine yards. I would dream about being a mommy to the Quints! Now, I’m only one short ;).

Pose Me Pretty Barbie: I got this for Christmas and it was the last year I believed in Santa! I found it in the closet a few weeks before I got it under the tree! It didn’t help that mom overslept and was sticking it under as I walking in the room! Thanks a lot mom, for crushing my dreams!

Well, that’s all for now, but I am sure there will be a Part 2 coming soon!
