Healthy Peach Ripple Popsicles
Are you looking for healthy summer treats for yourself and the kids? Why not try these simple whole food peach popsicles? They are both easy and affordable, and your kids will beg for more. My kids were thrilled when I made these. They ask for fresh or frozen fruit and yogurt every day, so I knew these would be fast favorite on hot days.
This recipe is for vanilla flavored Greek yogurt, but if you really want to cut the sugar, use plain Greek yogurt and Stevia. Any type of flavored yogurt is always going to gave more sugar than plain Greek (only 9 grams) so watch out for that fatty pitfall.
What Cha Need:
1 1/4 lb fresh peaches
2 tbsp raw honey
2 1/4 cups of vanilla Greek yogurt
1-2 drops of vanilla
How Ya Make It:
Peel and cut peaches into tiny bite-size pieces. Place 1/2 of the peaches in a food processor with honey and purée. In a bowl mix remaining peaches, peach purée, yogurt and vanilla.
Spoon the mixture into popsicle molds and place your stick in the center of each one. Freeze for about 6 hours, until firm.
Just before serving place the molds in warm water to loosen them up and remove from the mold.
Easy peasy!
