Thanks for checking out my Easy Hefty Kids Crafts post! My kids love crafting; they have been doing it since they could hold a crayon. Some parents like to play with dolls and cars with their children; I have always loved to watch my kids create. My boys are 10 and 11, and they will still drop anything to do a craft with me. I love watching my children’s personalities come out in everything they create, and my kids are pretty creative and talented, and I’m not just saying that because I’m their mom! 😉
Over the weekend, we crafted two Hefty Kids Crafts that they enjoyed. First, we prepared some pretty cute, Hefty Snowmen, and then we made a few batches of Puppy Chow and made some Printable Treat Bag Toppers! If you make any of these Hefty Crafts, be sure to comment below to reach out to you and feature your craft on my Facebook Page!

We also made Puppy Chow, and you can make it too! It’s SO easy!
Puppy Chow Recipe:
Ingredients:
– 10c Rice Chex Cereal
– 1 c Semi-Sweet Chocolate
– 3/4 c Creamy Peanut Butter
– 1/4 c Butter
-1 1/2 c powdered sugar
– Hefty Gallon Bags
– Hefty Quart Bags
In a small saucepan over low heat, mix chocolate, peanut butter, and butter. Heat until melted (doesn’t take long).
Pour over cereal in the large bowl, and mix until all of the cereal is covered with the chocolate mix.
Place 1/2 of cereal mixture into the Hefty Gallon Bags (2 bags) and 1/2 the powdered sugar into each bag. Seal the bags and shake until evenly covered. Then place in smaller Hefty Quart Bags for gifting.
You can print your own Treat Bag Topper templates here and gift these bad boys out to family, friends, and teachers!
